Steamboat Springs Weekend Getaway
Since the kiddos were on break this week, we went to Steamboat Springs for a long weekend for some cross country skiing, sledding, hanging out with friends, and just some plain hanging around!
We opted for a rustic cabin, and found this GREAT place called Perry-Mansfield, just a mile outside of Steamboat Springs, but still really secluded and rustic! No phones, no TV.....just the great outdoors! It's a performing arts camp that must be completely different in summer when camp is in session, but during the winter months they rent out the cabins. I love this place!

And one of the highlights of this rustic resort (besides the quiet and the amazing views) was a wonderful tubing hill that we found on premise! Complete with a friendly dog to chase the kiddos and the tubes!

A few good snowball fights, a few good tubing escapades, and the whole family was all smiles! Then we even got to take in a bonfire (complete with fireworks)on Saturday night!
