Little Kids with BIG personality - here comes KATIE!

Over the years, I have a lot of favorite subjects, and first in line are my own two children, Heather & Tyler. But little Katie has been coming to have her portraits done 3 or 4 times a year for the last three years, and she is next in line as my favorite subject! Personality to last all day.... opinions, faces, expressions, and just pure beauty!

And what has always been interesting about Katie's little personality is that she starts out very very shy.... and moves in slowly.... but when she decides that she's willing to enjoy being a little model - she does it BIG! with the BIGGEST personality. Someday I'm going to do a Mood or Expressions calendar.... with each mood and Katie's little face demonstrating that mood!

Lili's Three Year Old Portraits at the Park

I'm learning to meet two and three year olds for portraits where they are most comfortable - at the park! There is just so much variety and stimulation, they never get bored! I used to recommend meeting somewhere else and ENDING at the park, but sometimes starting at the park is great, like this shoot with beautiful little Lili!

We met at the Frisco Marina Park, and got lots of photos on her favorite thing, the swings, but then I love as the rain came in, her mom had this great red raincoat, I had a purple umbrella in my car, and the flowers were really amazing! I love these kind of shoots!

Adorable Little Girls.... Meet Ashley and Kylie!

I have had the pleasure of photographing Ashley and Kaeily every summer for three years, although they live on the East Coast, they come to visit grandma often, and I'm the lucky photographer! These tutus were bought at
and Mom always brings some surprises for the photos! We really had a terrific time getting the photos.....

Tenley turns 2!

Tenley had just turned two when she came in for portaits last month. I think she is just stunningly beautiful - those eyes and the eyelashes and the dimples! And when she giggles, they just all come together in the cutest way!

Being 2, Tenley didn't always like staying on the backdrop, so we got a few playing the piano & a few outdoors playing basketball - a typical 2 year old thing - why would they want to stay where we say when they have two little legs that LOVE to run! and jump!

Katie at Home!

After doing portraits of Katie in studio for the last two years, we finally took photos in her space! And it was really fun! Kids are often more comfortable in their own place, with their own toys, etc. It was fun to include the dogs in some photos also!
