Utah Tubbs Romp to Stomp

We just returned home from a great weekend in Park City, Utah. I photographed the Utah Romp to Stomp on Saturday, then a day of skiing at Deer Valley with friends, and a big SuperBowl party with our old neighbors. My buddy, and fellow photographer, Bill Milner of Milner Photography in Salt Lake City helped me shoot the Romp.

The Romp to Stomp is a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer, and is held in 6 cities across the United States - you can join their Facebook Fan Page and see more images online. Operating since 2003, the Romp to Stomp has raised over $1 million dollars for breast cancer research. There are 3k and 5k snowshoe walks and races, and participants dress up in beautiful pink outfits and crazy team outfits. It's really a beautiful event - this is the third Romp that I have photographed!

This last photo of Danelle Ballenger, an extreme athlete and PrimalQuest participant. In addition to her many athletic achievements, winning 140 plus snowshoe races, Danelle had an injury in 2006 that almost killed her. The full story is on her website. What a story and what a woman! And what a dog, Taz!

Rhonda and Matt's October Wedding in Breckenridge

Rhonda and Matt picked a beautiful fall day to have their wedding this month! They married themselves in the back yard of this beautiful Breckenridge vacation home. Their two boys, Connor and Andrew were absolutely adorable and seemed to be enjoying the celebration too!

And earlier in the week we all met at a park in Breckenridge and spent some time getting to know each other.... here are a couple of my favorite images:






What I really like about these family photos are they are GENUINE! Rhonda and Matt said they wanted to have fun and take candid photos, and didn't anticipate the boys would do a lot of "posing." But these moments are even better than the posed photos! What a beautiful family!

Shanna and Glen - Couple photos at Frisco Marina!

I'm so glad to be the "chosen photographer" for Shanna and Glen's wedding in 2010 - and to have this opportunity in September to photograph them as a couple! We chose a couple favorite spots, the Frisco Marina and the wedding/reception venue in Frisco, and we skirted around some rain in the area.

I am trying really hard NOT to call these engagement photos, but it's the only word our photography and wedding industry allows us!

Serena and Aaron - married at Sapphire Point by Leon Littlebird!

Serena and Aaron were maried on August 22nd by Leon Littlebird at Sapphire Point. It could NOT have been a more beautiful day! And the ceremony that Leon performs is absolutely amazing...... most guests (and the photographer) were in tears, as you can see the bride and groom and parents are!
