Libby & Neal's Winter Park Wedding

Libby & Neal were married last month at the Sunspot - on top of the Winter Park Ski Area. It was an absolutely beautiful day, and the wedding was beautiful! There was a lot of silliness going on at the reception - including folks using their napkins as sunshades!

And I love to see a bride dancing and twirling and smiling like Libby was! (I guess the groom and the rest of the guests all look pretty happy themselves - especially some of the kiddos!) Congratulations Libby and Neal!

Katie is 15 months old!

Katie has been coming in for portraits regularly and is one of my favorite babies! She doesn't have a lot of words yet, but she is so expressive! I think we could write a book on expressions illustrated by some of these looks for hers!

I guess that also means that she is opinionated for a one year old child! So much so that her parents are starting a website called Katie's Fave's! Check it out! The website is just starting up and just went live last week, so stay tuned for more great products of Katie's Favorites!

This last photo is her "sniffing a flower" face.....not just a little sniff, but a HUGE big noseful! What an absolutely adorable girl - her photo shoots are always so much fun! I wonder what she'll grow up to be, because she obviously has HUGE talent at age one and a very entertaining little personality!

A fun engagement session on skiis!

Emily and Geoff are getting married in September at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area - they are big skiers! So it was natural to do their engagement photos on skiis, and we certainly lucked out with a beautiful Colorado day!

We met at the Keystone Nordic Center and spent some time on the trails and off trail & Emily and Geoff spent some time getting snow on each other!

Can't wait to photograph their September wedding! But I hope there isn't as much snow!

We are blessed in Colorado's High Country!

We are truly blessed here in the High Country of Colorado. These images were from a school day last week - yes a SCHOOL DAY! Winter Recreation programs have been a big part of our school district's programs over the last years - helping Elementary School kids learn to love the winter and all that the great outdoors has to offer in winter months!

I am blessed to be a part of this local school district and joined my own 8 and 10 year old kiddos at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area last Thursday! It was a perfect day & perfect conditions! Who could ask for more?

That I get to photograph a wedding this summer at Arapahoe Basin - only 12 miles from my own house, 11,000 vertical feet at the base, 13,000 feet at the top, and some of the most perfect mountain views you can find! I AM blessed!
