Serena and Aaron - married at Sapphire Point by Leon Littlebird!

Serena and Aaron were maried on August 22nd by Leon Littlebird at Sapphire Point. It could NOT have been a more beautiful day! And the ceremony that Leon performs is absolutely amazing...... most guests (and the photographer) were in tears, as you can see the bride and groom and parents are!

Serena and I said we were meant to connect as bride and photographer, and it was really the most amazing ceremony and reception! Beautiful!

Jessica and Dan's Amazing Donovan Pavilion Wedding!

Jessica and Dan were married August 14th at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail.... what an absolutely amazing day! It started out with a yoga session at 8am taught by Kelly Frechette, and then the day just took off all on it's own.

The weather was very cloudy and bleak looking early in the day, with a few light showers, but the clouds parted right at ceremony time and the sun was so bright it was sometimes TOO bright for our cameras! What a fun wedding party - I love the fact that Dan had his sister, Carmell as a groomswoman rather than a bridesmaid, and she made a beautiful addition to the men! The shoes are just a riot! What better attire for being on your feet all day - too bad the ladies couldn't wear those sneakers!

And the Donovan Pavilion in Vail, Colorado was a perfect location to hold a wedding!

Lauren & Brian's Ski Tip Lodge Wedding July 11th 2009

Lauren & Brian were married at the Ski Tip Lodge on July 11th - one of my favorite romantic wedding venues!

A little rain in the afternoon (right at ceremony time) didn't dampen the fun and celebration - sometimes rain makes things even that much more romantic and memorable! And as you can see from the photos below - the sun came out after the ceremony and everyone enjoyed a little of Summit County's great outdoors!

I love it when couples just "go with the flow" when a downpour happens right before their wedding ceremony - it's a great signal that they are approaching life with a great attitude - there will be rain and sun in every day of life, and it's best to embrace it all!

Congratulations Lauren & Brian! May life bring you more sunshine than downpours, and if not, enjoy the downpours in a cozy place together!














I've noticed more & more how technology enters the wedding photography field - I have more & more photos of LCD screens in my proofs - and I love some of the interactions it brings! And LOVE that I can usually capture a photo of the event through another LCD screen!

Emily & Geoff's Wedding Photos Online!

Emily and Geoff's wedding at Arapahoe Basin was so much fun! The ceremony itself was blessed with both snowflakes and sunshine! Because both of them like to ski so much, the Basin was a perfect place to hold the wedding! We even shot their engagement photos on skiis last winter!

Both of them are happy, easy going people, and I just love all the smiles and happiness in each photo! It's infectious! (and that's not always the case with a couple of brainy engineers!)

And the scene where Geoff is going to jump into the arms of the bridesmaids is priceless....I love the first photo where Emily's face shows great concern....she knows he would do it! Even the ceremony had some really great laughs that made the day that much more fun! The snowflakes added a little fun too!

Oh yes, and this last photo is Emily showing off her beautiful bruise for wedding day that she got at the shooting range the week before the wedding....(note to self....remind other beautiful brides NOT to go to the shooting range the week of their wedding!)

I am still busily editing photos from Emily & Geoff's wonderful wedding at Arapahoe Basin last month....but thought I would give everyone a sneak peak! more to follow this week!

Emily & Geoff's engagement photos were so fun at Keystone Nordic Center last March....and they are such an adorable couple....of course their wedding photos are amazing!

Sometimes it can be tedious to edit wedding photos....I have 600 proofs so far with Emily & Geoff's....but I really love every moment of editing, because this couple and their friends are so happy and so relaxed...it's FUN to do the editing! And I smile throughout! I guess photographing at one of the most beautiful places on earth helps that too!
