Kevin Kubota Workshop - Day 2
I have been attending this Kevin Kubota Workshop as part of the Imaging Workshops of Colorado, an annual week long photography conference held here in Breckenridge.
Today I realized that although I have been using Adobe Lightroom for several years to edit weddings and portraits, I have only been using about 7% of it's power. I've been missing more than 90% of what this great product has to offer!
The first day, as attendees introduced themselves, there were a handful of attendees that said it was their second or third Kubota workshop they were attending. And I couldn't understand why. Today on Day 2, I realize that I would sign up for another one NEXT WEEK! There is so much more to learn about photography, editing of images, and the whole photography industry, and the Kubotas have such a great way of sharing their knowledge with some of us less experienced....it's really a wonderful experience!
We did an afternoon shoot with models on the streets of Main Street Breckenridge, and it was really a hoot! 25 photographers and two instructors, all with big lenses, cameras, and camera bags, chasing a young couple with a cruiser bike down Main Street! Several folks asked WHO we were photographing, as if we were all papparazzi! Here are a few of my favorite images!

I like this last photo of Kevin Kubota (on the right) talking to the two models....and he hands his camera to model Brittany....he's showing her how he wants her to stand....and they all look so darn comfortable! Even though Brittany has been modeling all day long & is doing a GREAT job!
