Photographing a Snowshoe Fundraiser
Saturday March 8th I have the opportunity to photograph the Tubbs Romp To Stomp out Breast Cancer at the Frisco Nordic Center. This is an annual event that brings in over 2,000 participants! A recent SUMMIT DAILY NEWS article explains more details as well as this Channel 9 News story.
This is the 6th annual Romp to Stomp event and they will be held in 5 different locations, New Jersey, Oregon, Salt Lake City, and Vermont/New Hampshire. This year's goal for fundraising for the Frisco event is $100,000!
PHOTOS FROM THE EVENT ARE NOW ONLINE HERE!
You can still donate (even up to two weeks after the race) to any of us by clicking on their links below:
Kay Beaton, a "snowed in" snowshoer - I won't be participating in the race but collecting donations as a virtual snowshoer!
Pink Tigers Team, a local Summit School District Team lead by Crystal Miller, principal of Summit Cove Elementary

A few of the Pink Tigers Team - Crystal Miller, Annie Black, and Holly Wade

Meet the 2007 Romp to Stomp grand prize winner JILL OVERDORF who raised $4,061 in 2007, and already has $5,000 in donations for this year and is well on her way to winning this year's GRAND PRIZE, a 6 day walking adventure in Arizona!
It's not to late to REGISTER, COLLECT DONATIONS, OR DONATE YOURSELF! Together we can make a difference!
Other Summit County teams I know of:
Team O2 - Kerri Rougemount
Colorado West Mental Health
Summit Middle School - Rompin' for Riggins
